Waterfalls home is a unique home built atop large boulders and overlooking a beautiful waterfall on Nelder creek. It’s about 15 minutes from the south gate of Yosemite National Park.
We (Maya and Pree) purchased this home after we fell in love with the peaceful setting of the home amidst the waterfalls and the majestic rocks. We have spent many weekends at this home with our little girls, exploring the creek in the day and stargazing at night.
It is a perfect escape for our family, away from the hustle bustle of Silicon Valley.
The wonderful 1517 Sq feet, 2 bed, 2 bath home is built on granite. The deck overlooks the waterfall and is an absolutely stunning and ideal location for a breakfast in nature. It feels like living in a tree house with the water running below.
We invite you to experience the magic of the Yosemite area from our home! We hope you will come by.
In the summer, we spend many early mornings walking down just a few steps to the stream. The water and waterfall are a lot quieter in the summer, allowing us to step into the little flowing puddles.
Serene and private, we settle down, sit for hours and read out here.
The evening light brings magical views. Whether we stay in or decide to walk out and down before the sunset, it is always a treat!
The view from the home is magical in every season.
The deck, with the view of the waterfall and the sounds of water, offers a perfect spot for breakfast or a glass of wine!
The “window wall” is all glass and makes us feel like we are in a treehouse!
We absolutely love these windows and sitting on the large natural American elm dining table!
The home is comfortable and equipped to let you relax and enjoy your break. If you are curious, you should try to cook with our world spices!
The south entrance of Yosemite is just 15 miles away. We hope that, like us, you will want to explore the tremendous experiences nature has to offer in this park. We have hiked several trails in the park no matter what season it is! We have skied and skated, experienced snow, the views of the Yosemite valley, the sunset, the stars and the incredibly magnanimous waterfalls and rock structures. The more we experience, the more we are in awe of this incredible place!
